Yup, I got married last December 16, 2006, the same day some nutball shot dead a congressman. Curiously, the incident happened in Mt. Carmel Shrine, our original church of choice before we learned that it was fully booked since April. (We ended up in Sacred Heart Parish in Kamuning, QC, a good enough alternative.)
